Mumbai Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) President Nawab Malik on Monday said that a final decision on the proposed NCP-Congress and Shiv Sena government will be formed in the next few days. 

While talking to the media, Malik informed that NCP supremo Sharad Pawar will meet Congress interim President Sonia Gandhi in Delhi today followed by a meeting of the top leaders from both parties on Tuesday. 

...after this, the process for the formation of the government will be finalised and things will speed up," said Malik. 

Malik further clarafied that they want to provide a "stable government" in Maharastra and the decision on the same will be taken soon. 

In NCP's core committee meeting, top party leaders held an intense discussion on the government formation in Maharashtra," said Malik. 

Meanwhile, Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan said that they are trying to work out if Sena, Congress and NCP can come together to form the government.

On the other hand, Republican Party of India (A) chief Ramdas Athawale had talks with Amit Shah. 

Amit Shah told me that everything will be fine and the BJP will form the government with Shiv Sena," claimed Athawale.
