BJP president Amit Shah and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis got together for a meeting this Wednesday in Ahmedabad, we learn.
Although Congress leader Narayan Rane too was present there, whispers abound whether Rane met Shah and Fadnavis. Narayan Rane, on the other hand, has declined to make any comment in this regard as of now.
Moreover, Rane's son Nitesh had stated in Sindhudurg that many people will see an 'improvement in the quality of life'.
During an event organised on the occasion of Narayan Rane’s birthday on 10 April, union minister Nitin Gadkari stated that the development in the state would have taken a different direction altogether had the former not left the Shiv Sena in the first place.
It was just some days earlier that Nitesh Rane had resigned from his post of Chief Secretary for Maharashtra Congress. After this, his ties with the other leaders of the Congress party seems to have taken a different course.
