Dynasty politics rules
Kurla- Dynasty politics is a common thing when it comes to elections. and same can be seen for the upcoming BMC elections.
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena has given tickets to the father-son who will contest elections from ward no 162 and 163 respectively.
Dilip Lande was three times corpoartor of ward no 162. However, he lost his ward due to the ward revision and the same ward was given to his son Pranav Lande.
When Mumbai Live asked Dilip Lande if he used his influence for his son, he denied the same. “I don’t believe in dirty politics and I did not ask MNS president to give a ticket to my son. He got it on his merit,” said Dilip Lande, MNS candidate. his son Pranav who will be contesting for the first time said that his main focus is work. “Politics is not new to me as I have seen it in my house. However, I want to encash this opportunity to work for the ward as nothing has been done for the ward so far,” said Pranav Lande, MNS candidate.
