Dispute within MNS party workers; Case registered against 15-20 persons

Maharashtra Navnirman Kamgar Sena Vice President Raj Parte was attacked with a knife in Chandivali area. In this regard, a case of attempted murder has been registered against 15 to 20 activists of MNS Kamgar Sena along with Gajanan Rane and Pratik Rane at Sakinaka Police Station. The complaint said that Parte was attacked when they all came together to settle the dispute between the workers. The Sakinaka police are conducting further investigation in this matter.


The complainant is a resident of Raj Parte Ghatkopar West and is the Vice President of the Workers' Sena of the MNS. He was admitted to Rajawadi Hospital in Ghatkopar for treatment. A case of attempted murder has been registered against Gajanan Rane, Pratik Rane, Anna Lokhande, Chetan Memon, Akash Jadhav and 15 to 20 activists in this case. Both the accused Gajanan Rane and Pratik Rane are office bearers of MNS Kamgar Sena.

Gajanan Rane had informed that he was coming to meet to discuss the dispute with Parte worker Vijay Nikam. Accordingly, all met at Gate No. 1 in Ansa Industries, Chandivali. At that time the accused started arguing with the complainant party. On this occasion, the complainant was attacked with a knife and iron bars. Cars were damaged. Deputy Commissioner (Circle-10) Mangesh Shinde said that a case has been registered in this matter and further investigation is underway.
