On Sunday, July 10, former Maharashtra cabinet minister and Shiv Sena youth wing, Yuva Sena, President Aaditya Thackeray stated that Matoshree's doors are open for those legislators who wish to return. He emphasized that despite the betrayal by rebel MLAs whom the party trusted, the grassroots workers were still with them, reports mentioned.

According to accounts, on Friday, July 8, Thackeray commenced the "Nishtha Yatra" to reach out to the grassroots level party cadre. Through the drive, he is slated to visit all Shiv Sena shakas across the city.

As part of this, on Sunday he visited the shakhas in BorivaliDahisar and Magathane wherein he interacted with the workers. Reportedly during his address to the party workers in Dahisar, he claimed that the rebels took advantage of his father, former Chief Minister and Shiv Sena Chief, Uddhav Thackeray's illness and betrayed them for their ambitions.

Junior Thackeray added that the rebels showed that good people do not have a place in politics. But he wants to show that isn't the case. He articulated that even as the rebels betrayed them, the grassroots of the party is still with them and each constituency has two to three noteworthy Shiv Sainiks both men and women who are ready to take on the political rivals.

Based on narratives, he went on to express his disappointment towards those who he trusted blindly, and gave love and everything they wanted. He voiced that they stabbed him in the back and challenged them to have some shame, resign and face fresh elections.

He uttered that Matoshree's doors are open for those who have been kidnapped or deceived. Thackeray claimed that history has witnessed that those who betrayed the party earlier have not been able to do anything in the future.

For those unversed, last month, Eknath Shinde with many MLAs of Shiv Sena propelled a rebellion. They demanded the party patch up with their former ally, BJP. It wanted Shiv Sena out of the MVA alliance that constitutes, NCP and Congress.

The rebellion led to the collapse of the Thackeray government, with Shinde being sworn in as the CM and BJP's Devendra Fadnavis as the deputy CM.
