State Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Devendra Fadnavis has made a big announcement while presenting the state budget in the budget session of the legislature. According to this, the farmers of Maharashtra will get INR 12k every year. The state government will be adding INR 6k from their side to every year's INR 12k.

Main issues of the budget

  • INR 300 crores for the protection of forts

  • Government will give INR 250 crores for Shiv Mahotsav

  • Announcement of incentive grant of 15 thousand per hectare to paddy farmers

  • Provision of INR 36 thousand crores for various projects in Maharashtra

  • Government will pay for crop insurance to farmers

  • Announcement of Namo Shetkari Maha Samman Yojana

  • As announced by the central government in the budget, Unity Mall will be established in Mumbai, space will be given to self-help groups

  • The life story of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj will be displayed in parks in Mumbai, Amravati, Nashik, Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar and Nagpur

  • 5 lakh insurance scheme for fishermen

  • Yellow and orange ration card families will get INR 5,000 after birth, INR 4,000 after class IV, INR 6,000 after class 6 and INR 8,000 after class 11. INR 75 thousand rupees will be given to the beneficiary girl after she attains the age of 18 years

  • For women's health, four crore women and girls will be given health check-ups and medication under the 'Mata Surakshit Tar Ghar Surakshit' campaign

  • About twenty thousand vacant posts of Anganwadi Mini Anganwadi Workers and Helpers in the state will be filled

  • #aapladawakhana started and received  a huge response. Considering this, now 700 HBT clinics will be started in the entire state in the name of Hindu Heart Emperor Late Balasaheb Thackeray, through which free treatment will be provided
