Mumbai's Congress corporators join Eknath Shinde faction

The Congress has suffered a major setback in Mumbai. After Shiv Sena in Mumbai, now Congress is also suffering losses. Five former corporators of Congress have decided to join Shinde Group. All the five corporators have submitted their resignations to Mumbai Congress President Varsha Gaikwad. It has come to the fore that all these corporators have joined the Shinde group.


Pushpa Koli (Sion), Wajid Qureshi (Chandivali), Babbu Khan (Dharavi), Ganga Kunal Mane (Dharavi), Bhaskar Shetty (Dharavi) are the names of former corporators who resigned. Four of these corporators are from Varsha Gaikwad's area, so she has got a big blow.

All these corporators have submitted their resignations to Varsha Gaikwad. After this, the former corporator joined the Shinde faction in Thane in the presence of Chief Minister Eknath Shinde. The former corporator said that the reason behind the resignation is Varsha Gaikwad’s way of working. On the other hand, so far 17 former corporators have left the Shiv Sena Thackeray faction and joined the Shinde faction.
