Shiv Sena’s firebrand leader Sanjay Raut on Monday slammed the former ally Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) stating that they have acted like “Chambal dacoits” to form the government.
While talking to the reporters, Raut said that BJP leaders will go crazy if they don’t stay in power. Further taking a dig at the BJP, the Shiv Sena leader said that mental health clinics will be formed to treat them in various parts of Maharashtra.
The BJP leader will go insane if they are not in power. They will lose their mental balance after we prove out majority during the floor test. We will form a special hospital to treat the mental illness of these BJP leaders,” said Raut.
The Shiv Sena leader stated that they have full faith in the Supreme Court while adding that his party along with Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) will defeat the BJP in the floor test.
In a surprise twist, BJP’s Devendra Fadnavis took oath as Maharashtra Chief Minister and NCP leader Ajit Pawar became Deputy Chief Minister.
However, NCP chief Sharad Pawar clarified that it was Ajit Pawar’s decision to join hands with the BJP and not NCP’s.
The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) along with Congress and Shiv Sena on Monday morning stake claim to form government in Maharashtra and submitted support letters to Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari.
Meanwhile, Of the missing five NCP MLAs including Ajit Pawar, three MLAs – Narhari Zhirwal, Daulat Daroda and Anil Patil – were “rescued” from a five-star hotel in Gurgaon (now Gurugram) and they were brought to Mumbai.
