After Shiv Sena-led Maha Vikas Aghadi formed the government in Maharashtra ending the political deadlock, the General Administration Department on Monday issued a notification allocating four bungalows.

Along with Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, three ministers of the state government have been allocated bungalows.

It is also learned that Former CM Devendra Fadnavis, who was on a house hunt, has been allocated a bungalow. Fadnavis is the leader of the opposition (LoP) in the state legislative assembly.

The notification issued has allocated ‘Varsha’ bungalow situated in Malabar Hill to CM Uddhav Thackeray. The bungalow was the earlier abode to Devendra Fadnavis from October 31, 2014, to November 12, 2019.

During his tenure as Maharashtra Chief Minister, Fadnavis stayed at ‘Varsha’ bungalow. As of now, Fadnavis has been allocated a new bungalow called ‘Sagar’. According to sources, Fadnavis will soon move to the newly allocated bungalow with his family.

Apart from this, NCP leaders including Chhagan Bhujbal and Jayant Patil has been allocated ‘Ramtek’ and ‘Sewasadan’, respectively. Shiv Sena MLA Eknath Shinde has been allocated ‘Royal Stone’ bungalow.
