Mumbai - “Maratha community protest is not against the establishment community leaders. During the last two years, the state government been ignoring the demands of Maratha, so now government should resolve the demands of Marathas”, NCP President Ashok Chavan demanded on Tuesday. Chavan further said, “Our government has given reservation to the Maratha Community but BJP government has failed to implement. Therefore, the community has deprived of reservations. “ Maratha community did not want the abolition of the Atrocity Act, but want the prevention which are been misused and it is the responsibility of government. State should take immediately cognizance of these silent marches”, Chavan said.
