Malbar Hill - Governor Ch. Vidyasagar Rao, under the ‘vigilance awareness week’, administered an oath to the Rajbhavan staff and police officers to eradicate corruption from the government machinery. The programme was held on Monday. The State government employees vowed to weed out corruption from all the spheres of the administration and bring honesty and transparency in the society. At the beginning of the programme, rich tributes were paid to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel and former prime minister Indira Gandhi on their birth and death anniversaries respectively.
