Andheri - There are candidates who are agitated at not getting a single ticket from the BJP. On the other hand, there's the Patel couple which has secured not one, but two tickets to contest the BMC elections on the BJP ticket.
Murji Patel has been given a ticket from ward 76 and his wife Kesarben Murji Patel has also been given a ticket from the Andheri constituency in ward 81. Kaserben Murji Patel is the present corporator from ward 73, MIDC area of Andheri. During the previous BMC election, she contested as a Congress candidate. This time, the Patel couple has joined the BJP party and both have got the tickets from the party.
