Mumbai – It is the victory of people’s trust on prime minister Narendra Modi, said chief minister Devendra Fadnavis while reacting on the BJP’s win in Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections the results of which were announced on Saturday.

The UP Assembly election results have underlined the mood of the country. A new age has started in India from 2014 Lok Sabha election results and people have continued to trust Modi. The people have voted for the BJP though they faced difficulties due to the demonetization, he said.
Fadnavis also said that the BJP had promised construction of Ram Temple in Ayodhya and this is still on party’s agenda, he pointed out.

The CM said the farmers in the state were given loan waiver in the year 2008 and yet incidents of farmers ending their lives have not reduced. The loan waiver had benefitted the banks and hence the government has been trying to give proper prices to farmers’ produce, said Fadnavis.
