Andheri - The political parties seem to have grabbed the footpaths and bus stop shades on New Link Road in Adarsh Nagar, Lokhandwala, Shastri Nagar, Oshiwara, Anand Nagar and Ganesh Nagar areas in K-West ward area. The activists of different political parties have put up their party banners and established illegal libraries on the busy road. This is being done even after the code of conduct has come into effect for the municipal corporation elections. When contacted, K-West ward’s assistant municipal commissioner Parag Masurkar said that action is underway in this connection.
