Prabhadevi - “The Janata Dal (United) will be an option before the people of Maharashtra,” said MLC Kapil Patil whose outfit ‘Lokbharati’ was merged into the JD (U) here on Saturday in special presence of JD (U) national general secretary Shyam Rajak. Condemning the politics of the BJP and the Shiv Sena, Shyam Rajak claimed that JD (U) will provide an option to the people of Maharashtra. Rajak also announced that Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar has appointed Kapil Patil as the convenor of JD (U) in Maharashtra. Lyricist Hasan Kamal, trade union leader Shashank Rao, Gulam Nabi Ansari, Mattu Khurana, Jayant Gaikwad and many other representatives from all over the state attended this meeting.
