A shocking incident has taken place in Mumbai where a 40-year-old man sexually assaulted a 20-year-old girl in the ladies compartment of a running Mumbai local train. This incident happened on Wednesday morning. The horrific incident took place between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) and Masjid Bandar stations at 7:26 am. According to the information received, the victim was travelling alone, it is understood that the accused ran away after she started screaming.


The young woman, a resident of Girgaon in Mumbai, was heading towards Belapur in Navi Mumbai. After the incident, the girl went to the Railway Protection Force (RPF) and lodged a complaint, after which the police registered a case against an unknown person.
