Congress-NCP alliance jointly release manifesto; focuses on unemployment

In the manifesto, the issues related to unemployment, environment and loan waiver for farmers has been highlighted


Ahead of 2019 Maharashtra assembly elections scheduled on October 21, Congress and Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) alliance on Monday announced their manifesto – 'Shapath Patra'.

In the manifesto, the issues related to unemployment, environment and loan waiver for farmers has been highlighted. The manifesto by Congress-NCP alliance has focused on the problems faced by the youth of the country. 

Along with this, the manifesto focuses on the health insurance for all, 5,000 allowance for the unemployed, proposal to provide 80 per cent jobs for local people, global warming, farmer's loan waiver, minimum salary 21,000 and no property tax on houses around 500 sq ft. 

The manifesto also stated that the farmers' loan will be fully waived if the Congress is elected to power while special scheme will be initiated for women and the sexual harassment in college campus faced by women remains an important issue for Congress. 

We are certain that the implementation of this manifesto will surely bring Maharashtra back onto the path of progress,” Maharashtra Congress said while sharing the manifesto.

The assembly elections in Maharashtra are scheduled on October 21 and their results will be declared on October 24.
