Ahead of 2019 Maharashtra assembly election results scheduled on October 24, most of the exit polls have predicted a win for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Shiv Sena alliance while giving them 200 or more seats.
However, at least one exit poll carried out by the ‘Poll Diary’ predicted some seats for Raj Thackeray-led Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) in the state.
Raj Thackeray rigorously campaigned for the assembly elections in Maharashtra and the MNS fielded more than 100 candidates for the same. In one of his address, Thackeray appealed to the people to elect all his candidates and make MNS a strong opposition in the state.
As per the exit poll carried out by ‘Poll Dairy’, MNS will get one to five seats in the assembly polls. Along with this, there is a tough competition in 25 assembly constituencies between MNS candidates and other parties.
