The budget session of the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly will begin on February 27. This session will continue till March 25. The budget will be presented on March 9. The State Deputy Chief Minister and Finance Minister Devendra Fadnavis will present the budget. This is the first budget of the Shinde-Fadnavis government after coming to power.


On March 9, the budget will be presented at 2 pm. Before that, the financial inspection report of Maharashtra will be presented on March 8. At present there is no Minister of State in the State Cabinet composition. Therefore, the question is being raised that if the cabinet is not expanded and the Minister of State for Finance is not appointed before the session, then who will present the budget in the Legislative Council.

The Deputy Chief Minister of the state, Devendra Fadnavis has so far held various positions like Chief Minister, Home Minister, Leader of the Opposition, Deputy Chief Minister.
