“A woman was tragically killed in a gang rape in Hathras village of Uttar Pradesh. Yogi Adityanath control the criminals. Focus on cleaning goons from the city instead of ‘film city’, it will be more useful,” Deshmukh tweeted.

Earlier, NCP leader and Maharashtra Housing Minister Jitendra Awhad expressed his displeasure over the incident. He highlighting that the caste system is still very much active in society.

“Those who say that the caste system is over are cheating themselves. This cancerous disease is still present in society. The pyre of a Dalit girl in Hathras is living proof of the same,” Awhad said.
