The opposition party attacked the government in the Legislative Council saying that there have been incidents of riots in many places in the state in recent times, the police are not taking action against the rioters, they are taking the role of a bystander, so it is suspected that there is a conspiracy behind spoiling the social harmony. Speaking on the motion in the final week, Opposition Leader Ambadas Danve, Bhai Jagtap, Eknath Khadse and other members targeted Deputy Chief Minister and Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis on the issue of law and order in the state. Danve alleged that the crime rate has increased in Chief Minister Eknath Shinde's Thane district and Devendra Fadnavis' Nagpur district.

'Which conversation did Rashmi Shukla hear?'

Eknath Khadse did not leave an opportunity to target Devendra Fadnavis, taking away the phone tapping case by Upper Director General of Police Rashmi Shukla. Shukla tapped my phone for 84 days. It was investigated, but I have to understand what came out of it, he said. Khadse demanded that why my phone was tapped, am I a traitor, what conversations did they overhear, I should understand, it is my right, Devendra Fadnavis should answer it.


Khadse criticised state government

Eknath Khadse bombarded the state government with allegations, especially the Home, Tribal and Construction departments. He alleged that the bills are drawn without doing the road works. He asked that     INR 11,000 crore are due to the contractors, then why was the loan of INR 6 lakh crore taken, where is this money going?
