Ahead of the upcoming Lok Sabha and Maharashtra Assembly elections, the Maratha Kranti Morcha (MKM) has decided to protest against Shiv Sena and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) alliance. The MKM said that Shiv Sena and BJP government has stalled Maratha reservation in Bombay High Court.

While addressing a press conference in Mumbai, MKM informed that they will not give votes to any candidate fielded by the BJP and Shiv Sena.

Not even a single BJP and Shiv Sena booth will be allowed to get installed across the state and wherever their public meeting will be held, the same will be evacuated. This government is against the Maratha community and we will campaign against it across Maharashtra,” the MKM said while talking to the media.

Earlier, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray assured that the criminal cases registered against Maratha youth during the reservation agitation will be dismissed. “However, when a delegation went to Matoshree regarding the same, they were insulted,” informed MKM.
