Byculla - Banking heavily on minorities, MIM conducted a public rally on Monday evening. MIM has high hopes regarding BMC election, as they are targeting around 50 seats. In the rally, it was quite strange to see that party leaders only targeted Congress in the rally.
Mumbai MIM President Abdulrehman Shakir Patni took a dig at Congress stating, Congress is only fooling Muslim community from past 25 years. Whereas, those in power have also not done any good to them. MIM is the voice of the Islamic community in India. Candidate Wakhrunisa Ansari joined in and lashed congress party.
Party MLA Byculla, Adv. Waris Pathan while addressing commented, I have been working for the reservation of Muslim community and this is the time to show Congress and NCP, what is MIM?
During the rally opening of PRO office for Wakhrunisa Ansari was also conducted. Party leaders made it loud and clear that, Muslim votes must not be distributed it should all fall in party's lap.
