While the results of the Gram Panchayat elections in Maharashtra are being spoken about, it has come to light that the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), which has been considered very weak at the village level, has started pushing the ruling parties.

As per reports, some gram panchayats have preferred the party and party members are witnessing the positive results of MNS leaders contesting the elections with full strength.

Earlier, MNS president Raj Thackeray had instructed all MNS office bearers to contest the Gram Panchayat elections in unity, and the result is seen due to the same. Polling for a total of 2,711 gram panchayats in Maharashtra was held on Friday, January 15, 2021, and the results of this elections will be announced soon.

Furthermore, the results obtained so far show that four out of seven members of MNS from Kakoli Gram Panchayat in Ambernath have won and MNS Sarpanch will be present in this Gram Panchayat. This result has rather been a surprise for the opponents, whereby the party now believes that MNS sarpanch will work towards the development of everyone. It is said that the MNS flag has been hoisted on Shirpur Gram Panchayat in Arni taluka of Yavatmal.

Moreover, all the seven MNS candidates have won in 'Khairi Sawangi Wadhona' group gram panchayat in Achalpur taluka of Amravati, post which the party has thanked the villagers for letting them take control of the entire Gram Panchayat. Under the leadership of Avinash Palve, MNS's saffron has also made a mark at the Shirsatwadi gram panchayat in Ahmednagar district, where nine members of MNS have won the polls.

MNS under the leadership of Anil Mane in Solapur has won five out of seven seats in 'Hivare' Gram Panchayat elections in Karmala taluka.  Out of the results obtained so far, MNS has made a mark in 11 gram panchayats, while hundreds of party members have been elected in other gram panchayats.
