Nariman Point - Former Union home minister and senior Congress leader Sushilkumar Shinde has criticized the Modi government on the issue of demonetization. “The common people are facing problems due to demonetization but the government has not been declaring how much black money it has collected during these 50 days. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had appealed people to bear the trouble only for 50 days and had shown readiness to get punished if things do not improve. Now, things have not improved. He should tell the country where he would be punished,” said Shinde. The meeting of Congress party’s state campaigning committee was held here on Saturday under the presidentship of Shinde. MPCC president Ashok Chavan, former chief minister Prithviraj Chavan and other Congress leaders attended the meeting.
