After Navratri Garba, Deepotsav, Chhat Puja, BJP corporators have now started building voter strength through Mahalakshmi Vrat. A former corporator of BJP has fought a unique way to woo the voters using the occasion of festivals. A former BJP corporator has decided to distribute materials for the Mahalakshmi fast in the month of Margashirsha.
The month of Margashirsha begins next week and the first Thursday is December 14. There is a tradition of fasting for Mahalakshmi every Thursday in the month of Margashirsha in many households. The corporators of BJP in Ghatkopar have decided to use this opportunity to distribute materials for Mahalakshmi fast.
Until now, the political party used the opportunity to promote their party and themselves by distributing materials like ubtan, snacks, sugar, semolina during Diwali. It has now also started including the fast of Margashirsha month.
Former corporator from Ghatkopar, Mumbai BJP secretary Praveen Chheda will distribute materials like Mahalakshmi's face mask, dress, turmeric, vermillion powder, and booklet.
