On May 30, Narendra Modi took oath for the second time after he was re-elected as the Prime Minister in the Lok Sabha 2019 elections. Along with him, various other NDA leaders took the oath as the Union Ministers which consisted of Amit Shah, Prakash Javadekar, Smriti Irani, Rajnath Singh amongst the others.


After registering a win by a margin of almost one lakh votes, Shiv Sena leader Arvind Sawant was also included in the newly elected Narendra Modi government on Thursday. A first-time minister, the Shiv Sena leader has served two terms as an MLC in the Maharashtra Legislative Council and has also been a spokesperson of the Uddhav Thackeray-led party.

Earlier, the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance was able to win all the six Lok Sabha seats from Mumbai. The alliance between the two political parties helped them win three seats each.
