Bharatiya Janta Party and Shiv Sena are ruling the BMC from past two and a half decades, but the condition of shanties in the city remains standstill. In regard with that NCP Corporator Dr Saeeda Khan has taken a dig at the ruling allies stating, please utilise the brain (“Bheja”) between both the ears. This created a ruckus in the BMC.
Shanties are devoid of basic amenities one of them is poor electricity. Due to which crimes like rape, molestation, theft and murder have become easy. Agitated Shiv Sena candidates asked Saeeda Khan to take her back words and apologise for the same. Saeeda didn’t apologise for the statement. Additional Commissioner Sanjay Deshmukh intervened and stopped the heating arguments.
