MLC Prashant Paricharak is facing flak from all corners for commenting on soldier's wives. Opposition leaders are demanding to oust Paricharak from the house. “Such derogatory statement made by MLC is sedition,” said Congress MLA Bhai Jagtap.
He added that if the state fails to take action against Paricharak then they will not fight for justice. Likewise, NCP MLC Dhananjay Munde said that if no action is taken against Paricharak then they will hamper the house proceedings.
Shiv Sena spokesperson Neelam Gorhe also criticized Paricharak’s derogatory statement in the house. “If Shiv Sena supremo Bal Thackeray would have been alive then he would have sent Paricharak to the gallows,” said
He made a derogatory statement about soldier’s wives in Solapur while addressing a rally. “One day a soldier from Punjab gets a letter informing that his wife has delivered a baby. He has not visited home for a year and yet he is celebrating. This is how politics has become,” said Paricharak.
