After the state finance minister Sudhir Mungantiwar presented the budget, opposition party MLAs burnt the budget copies outside the assembly. When finance minister presented the budget, opposition party MLAs created chaos in the assembly. They were of the view that the leading party did not discuss the farmers’ loan waiver issue in the state assembly.
Opposition party leader Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil staged the protest by burning the budget copies. They also criticized that the CM Devenra Fadnavis has fooled the farmers. After the state budget, CM Devendra Fadnavis said that the opposition party MLAs act of burning budget copies was condemnable
