Pay ‘penance’ of Rs 5 cr for casting Pak artists: Raj
Mumbai - After the meeting with chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, Producers’ Association and director of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ Karan Johar, MNS chief Raj Thackeray addressed a press conference to clear his stand on the issue. Raj asked directors of the film having Pakistani artists to donate Rs 5 crore to Army Welfare Fund as their ‘penance’ for casting the Pakistan artists. This condition will only be for the films in their last phase of shooting, stressed Thackeray. The other condition of MNS include written assurance from the directors’ association not to cast Pakistani artists and singers in their movies again.
