Andheri- Just ahead of the BMC poll, in fighting within the Congress seems to be taking its toll. Congress Ex MLA Ashok Jadhav seems to be lobbying for the making incumbent Congress corporator Mohsin Hyder a scapegoat.
Ashok Jadhav is worried about the growing clout of Mohsin Hyder and he may become a competitor in the assembly polls for the Ex MLA. Hence Mohsin's name was not forwarded to the high command as one of the prospective candidates.
Mohsin Hyder has now approached the high command in Delhi. Mohsin said that he has been one of the few corporators who has won by huge margin, someone is trying to sabotage his political career. He also said that he has given Mumbai Pradesh Congress President Sanjay Nirupam an ultimatum till 1st February, post which he will take a call on whether to join any other party or contest as an independent.
