MNS to contest Lok Sabha seats in Thane and Palghar

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) has started building a team for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and has decided to contest on four seats including three in Thane district and one in Palghar district. This decision has been taken in a meeting of key office bearers in the presence of party president Raj Thackeray in Thane city. Thane and Palghar District President Avinash Jadhav has confirmed this report.


The target has been set to reach more than 70,000 households in the next six months. Also party workers are going to go to everyone's house and know the problems of the citizens. Raj Thackeray has ordered the workers to meet the municipal commissioner to ask for an answer regarding the death of patients  at Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital in Kalwa.

Mumbai-Goa highway has been stalled for 17 years: Raj Thackeray

The Mumbai-Goa highway has been stalled for 17 years. Although INR 15,566 crores have been spent on this road, the road is still incomplete. Therefore, MNS President Raj Thackeray criticised that road construction has become just a business. In a gathering at Panvel, Raj ordered that MNS workers should protest on the Mumbai-Goa highway so that no one would dare to leave the work incomplete.
