Mumbai - BMC employees are likely to be offered Rs 14, 000 as ex gratia for Diwali. The decision will be taken in a meeting scheduled on Monday. Last year employees were given Rs 13,500 as ex gratia. Since the municipal election is around the corner, employees are expecting the amount to be more this year. Meanwhile, BMC workers and employees Union have Rs 20,000 and Municipal Mazdoor Association has demanded Rs 30,000 as Diwali bonus. A final decision in this regard is likely to be taken in a meeting comprising of leaders from all the parties on Monday.
