According to reports, on Friday, January 15, Shiv Sena's Sanjay Raut and his wife Varsha Raut met Congress politician, Sharad Pawar at his residence. In a statement to the media, Sanjay Raut stated that this was a personal visit.

After Hegde's allegations, Renu Sharma has now broken her silence and given an explanation on social media. She said in her tweet that Dhananjay Munde did all this consciously. "I was not part of any honey trap," she explained. However, Renu's tweet has increased Sarnaik's difficulty. Pratap Saranaik, who was already on the radar of the ED, has been strewn in the mess as Munde had allegedly met Hegde at a party thrown by the Shiv Sena leader.
