Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Thursday said that actress Kangana Ranaut should go to the police with evidence to prove her claims in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput death case.

Ranaut earlier said that she was ready to expose the drug mafia in Bollywood but needed protection from either Himachal Pradesh or central government directly. She expressed that she is more afraid of Mumbai Police than ‘movie mafia’ goons.

“I am more scared of Mumbai Police than movie mafia goons. I need security either from Himachal Pradesh government or directly from centre, please not Mumbai,” Ranaut said in reply to Kadam’s tweet.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ram Kadam also came in her support and slammed the Maharashtra government saying that it had not given her protection even days after she expressed willingness to provide information of the drug mafia in Bollywood.

Reacting to this, Raut said that she should approach the police with evidence to support her claims and stop “playing on Twitter”. Without naming the actress, the Shiv Sena leader said that if someone has information about Bollywood and Drug mafia nexus, they should approach the police instead of playing games on Twitter.

The spat between Raut and Kangana has escalated after the former asked the actress not to come back to Mumbai over her remarks against the city’s police. To which Kangana replied, “Why does Mumbai feel like Pakistan Occupied Kashmir?”

This has sparked huge outrage as many have criticised Kangana for comparing Mumbai with POK. Meanwhile, Raut has also been criticised for suggesting that Kangana shouldn’t travel to Mumbai.
