NCP founding president Sharad Pawar, while resigning from the post of party president, announced a committee to elect a new president. After this, a meeting of this committee was held today (May 5) at the regional office of NCP in Mumbai. Sharad Pawar's resignation has been unanimously rejected. Praful Patel proposed to reject this resignation. All the members of the committee unanimously approved the proposal.
After the committee rejected Sharad Pawar's resignation from the post of president, now everyone's attention has turned to what role Sharad Pawar himself takes.
Praful Patel said, “There was no idea that Sharad Pawar would announce his decision in the program. Everyone expressed their feelings in Yashwantrao Chavan Hall. Even after that senior dignitaries of the party met Sharad Pawar. I have been requesting Sharad Pawar since then. He requested Sharad Pawar that the country, the state and the party need you."
