Leaders and workers of all political parties are hard at work on the poll campaigns, some taking part in at least three to four campaigns in a day.
One such leader is Mumbai Bharatiya Janata Party president Ashish Shelar. On 16 February, Shelar conducted meets at three places - Wadala, Bhoiwada, and Bandra - in a single day.
During one of his meets, held near the Oxilium school at Wadala, he took a dig at the Shiv Sena and the Congress. “For the last 22 years, neither Congress nor Shiv Sena has thought of redeveloping the Slum Rehabilitation Authority. They have a secret alliance, which is why we see so many towers on open grounds,” he remarked.
