On the occasion of Shiv Sena's 53rd anniversary, the party organised a programme at Shanmukhananda Hall in Matunga and invited Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to address the party workers. CM Fadnavis will be the first leader from another party to address Shiv Sena workers.

Earlier on Tuesday, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut had confirmed that along with party chief Uddhav Thackeray, CM Fadnavis will also be present at the event to celebrate their 53rd anniversary.

In its first, a leader from a different party will attend Shiv Sena’s foundation day celebration. Until now, Uddhav Thackeray and late Shiv Sena founder Bal Thackeray have addressed this event.
