According to the latest reports, Shiv Sena that leads the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government faces danger as senior party leader and urban development minister, Eknath Shinde has allegedly been unavailable since last night. Not just this, but 13 legislators associated with him are also out of communication reach. Moreover, the security has also been heightened outside Shinde's residence in Thane.

Accounts speculate that Shinde along with his legislators are in Surat and will be addressing the press at 12 pm from there. These occurrences come in the aftermath of claims that nearly 11 Shiv Sena legislators and its associate members cross-voted in the Maharashtra legislative council elections conducted on Monday, June 20.

Narratives highlight that following the results, state Chief Minister and Shiv Sena President, Uddhav Thackeray conducted a meeting with his party legislators and minister at midnight. He is anticipated to call another meeting at 12 pm on Tuesday, June 21 as well to take stock of the situation.

Based on reports, Shinde is claimed to be angry for allegedly being neglected in the operation of the party and the government. Moreover, he is not pleased for reportedly not having attained freedom in operating his department that entails urban development and public works because of dominance from the father-son duo (Uddhav and Aaditya Thackeray).

It has been claimed that Shinde's followers in the party were not pleased with Uddhav Thackeray's indifferent attitude as well as in the allocation of requisite funds in their constituencies.

Other MVA allies that include NCP and Congress are believed to be watching these developments closely because the survival of its government could be at stake.

Moreover, certain reports allege that the MLAs with Shinde include; Abdul Sattar, Shambhuraj Desai, Sandipan Bhumre,  Rajput with Udayas, Bharat Gogavale, Nitin Deshmukh, Anil Babur, Vishwanath Bhoir, Sanjay Gaekwad, Sanjay Ramulkar, Mahesh Sinde, Shahaji Patil, Prakash Abitkar, Sanjay Rathore, Gyanraj Chowgule, Tanaji Sawant, Sanjay Shirsat and Ramesh Bornare.
