After the Supreme Court shifted the hearing for the Ram Mandir Issue in January, leaders from right-wing political parties have expressed their dissatisfaction over the same. Speaking on the same to ANI, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Thursday said, “Ram Mandir will not be constructed in a 1,000 years if we rely on SC’s verdict.”

Ahead of Maharashtra Assembly and Lok Sabha elections in the year 2019, the Ram Mandir issue has taken up the heat. BJP won the 2014 general assembly election focusing on the same agenda and now, Shiv Sena is trying to take over the Ram Mandir issue.

Following SC’s order on Ram Janam Bhoomi issue, various opinions have come up in the political circle with some saying that the ruling party in the centre should pass an ordinance to build Ram Mandir.

While speaking at an event during Dussehra, Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) chief Mohan Bhagwat in Nagpur said that the central government should start the construction of Ram Temple through the means of law.

Earlier, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray also announced that he will visit Ayodhya on November 25. Raut informed that Shiv Sena is taking a stand on Ram Mandir issue to remind Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) about their promise to build Ram Temple.
