Ahead of Maharashtra Assembly and Lok Sabha elections next year, Shiv Sena launched its political campaign for the upcoming polls 2019 on the occasion of Dussehra and declared an open electoral war against, Bharatiya Janata Party, its ally in the state.

Facilitating thousands of Shiv Sena followers, the party chief Uddhav Thackeray announced that he will be visiting Ayodhya on November 25.

BJP promised to build Ram Mandir but hasn’t done much about it. One needs the willpower to do the same and Shiv Sena has that strength. I will go to Ayodhya myself on November 25 bearing the saffron flag,” Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray said while addressing people at Shivaji Park.

Earlier in 2014, Prime Minister Narendra Modi came to power after promising to build Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on the disputed land.  Criticising the ruling party for not being able to build Ram Mandir, the Shiv Sena chief said that there is a problem with their DNA.

PM Modi roams everywhere around the world but is not concerned about the Ayodhya and the state from where he has been elected,” Thackeray further said.
