Bhandup - BMC election is scheduled for next year, political parties have jumped into the battle ground to claim the seat. Shivaji Talao, Bhandup is the bone of contention between MNS & Shivsena. According to MNS Ex-Corporator Shishir Shinde, "MNS has done a lot of work for the development and beautification of Shivaji Talao, which was a degraded place for past 20 years. With party workers, shanties were moved from the Shivaji Talao premise and road was constructed. Shivsena's Ashok Patil for the sake of popularity listed his name in Ashray list of corporation's fund."
