Shiv Sena Yashwant Jadhav claims that the former has worked for the beautification of Chaityabhoomi of Dadar. Meanwhile, mayor Vishwanath Mahadeshwar and Yashwant Jadhav demanded a dry day on Mahaparinirvan and Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar’s birth anniversary during a Chaityabhoomi’s coordination meeting which was chaired by CM Devendra Fadnavis.
On 20 March 1927, Bharatratna Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar had led the satyagraha to allow untouchables to use water in a public tank in Mahad. On Monday, this satyagraha completed 90 years and on the occasion to which, CM had called out a meeting. However, the mayor was not called for the meet. This did not go well with Yashwant Jadhav who said that he condemns the act and said that it was because of Shiv Sena, Chaityabhoomi was beautified.
