Mumbai - Three 'Marathi' candidates from ward number - 131 - Babu Darekar, Prasad Kamtekar and Nana Utekar were eagerly awaiting a party ticket, but it all turned upside down for the trio when the Shiv Sena turned the tables on them and gave the ticket to BJP turncoat Mangal Bhanushali.
Party workers were agitated with this move and sent an e-mail to the party honchos registering their protest. In a meeting with MP Rahul Shewale and Sena Secretary Aadesh Bandekar, party workers decided that the Sena must give Bhanushali some official post but not a party ticket. The party workers' demands were not fulfilled by those in power however. It is learnt that Bhanushali has been given the ticket to bring down BJP MLA Prakash Mehta.
