On the occasion of Ram Navami, various programs were organised across the country. Ram Navami was celebrated with enthusiasm. Against this backdrop, activists had also gathered at Uddhav Thackeray's residence 'Matoshree' in Mumbai on the occasion of Ram Navami. The occasion was to praise some Shiv Sena workers who walked directly from Ramtek to Mumbai. On this occasion, after meeting these workers, while interacting with those present, Uddhav Thackeray criticised the Shinde group and the BJP.
“The courage to walk from Ramtek to Mumbai needs courage. Carry this determination back to where you came from. Your unity is my strength. Even though the bow and arrow are namesakes, I am blessed with these arrows like party workers. These are not just arrows, these are Brahmastras. All these Brahmas are with me", Uddhav Thackeray said on this occasion.
"Though the bow and arrow are stolen, Lord Ram is with me"
"Looking at it from a point of view, it is not difficult, it is impossible for someone like that to walk so many kilometres. I consider it as Lord Ram's blessing that you felt like coming to Matoshree. After leaving Ramtek, you reached here right on Ram Navami. Though some have stolen the bow and arrow, Prabhuram is with me”, quipped Uddhav Thackeray.
“If we come together, Lanka Dahan is possible”
"Saving democracy is not my job alone or for me alone but it is for all of us, for our future generations. During the construction of Ram Setu, there was an army of monkeys, but there was also salt. Then the squirrel also took her share. If we all come together, will we not be able to burn Lanka?” Uddhav Thackeray asked this question to the workers present.
"Then a stone used to float in the name of Ramachandra. That is what has happened in politics now. The stones are floating in the name of Lord Rama. Then the stones were floating so that lord rama could reach Lanka. Now the stones are only floating and ruling as well. So what should a true devotee of Ram do? That work of Rambhakta is expected from you”, said Uddhav Thackeray.
