On Wednesday, Shiv Sena party chief Uddhav Thackeray in a press conference made a statement that the Sena BJP alliance is moving slowly like the proverbial tortoise. Thackeray was referring to recently released Marathi films Kaasav and Ventilator, which have been garnering plaudits at the National awards.
On Tuesday, the star cast of the Marathi film visited Thackeray's residence Matoshree. After the visit, journalists quizzed Thackeray about the state of the alliance between Shiv Sena and BJP, and that's when Thackeray made the analogy.
Thackeray appreciated the National Award filmmaker, director and artists and said that a film festival was being organised by the Shiv Sena's film wing in Mumbai.
On the issue of former Indian Navy officer, Kulbushan Jadhav, Thackeray said that only writing letters will not solve this problem.
