"When elections come, some people play the game of defamation. Elections come and go, but they should remember that those whose houses are made of glass should not throw stones at others," warned Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde to the Thackeray group over their criticism of Minister Yogesh Kadam.

Shiv Sena Thackeray faction had leveled allegations against Shiv Sena (Shinde) leader Ramdas Kadam and Minister of State for Home Yogesh Kadam in the session. Deputy Chief Minister Shinde responded to these allegations. He was speaking at a special camp organised by Siddhesh Kadam under the 'Government at Your Doorstep' initiative at NESCO in Goregaon. Earlier, citizens had to make many trips to government offices for work, but even then, their work was not getting done. Due to this, they could not avail the benefits of government schemes. But now the people are benefiting greatly because the government is reaching their doorsteps directly, said the Deputy Chief Minister.

Shiv Sena leader Gajanan Kirtikar, leader Ramdas Kadam, MP Ravindra Waikar, spokesperson Sanjay Nirupam and many Shiv Sena office bearers were present on this occasion.

"Kadam has no reason to worry. It's common for some people to engage in defamation tactics when elections are near. He hasn't contributed anything to the Marathi community over the years. Our government has taken real steps — we've started making Mumbai's roads fully concrete. In the next two and a half years, the entire city will have concrete roads. There will be no need for constant repairs, and that means the money made from frequent roadwork will stop,” said Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister

‘I was not born with a golden spoon, but…’

He did nothing for the Marathi people. Balasaheb Thackeray had a dream that 40 lakh houses should be provided to the Marathi people.

We are taking this dream forward. The work of building 35 lakh houses has been started. Work is underway to provide the Marathi people with their rightful homes. We are working to bring back the Marathi people who have left Mumbai. Deputy Chief Minister Shinde said that I was not born with a golden spoon, but I wish to put it in everyone's hands.

Addressing the students present at the event, he further said that students are the future of the country and they need to be encouraged. He said that such programs inspire them and give them the opportunity to shape their future through government schemes.
