Without taking the name of Congress leader Narayan Rane, Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray criticised the discussion on shifting political loyalties.
Thackeray, while addressing a programme at Rangsharda auditorium on Wednesday, said that opposition parties criticise Shiv Sena for not withdrawing support to the state government but they do not talk about the people who are planning to join the BJP. The leader, who criticises the Sena, met BJP president Amit Shah and chief minister Devendra Fadnavis. Such people should first remember their party as many leaders of opposition parties have switched their loyalties to the BJP, he added. Earlier, Thackeray had avoided comments on Rane’s joining the BJP and had ‘wished them’.
