Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut on Tuesday said that there are no differences between with the three allies - Congress, Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) and Shiv Sena - in the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) government while confirming that Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray will visit Ayodhya to the “bhoomi pujan” for Ram Mandir construction.

The spokesperson of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust informed that they have decided a tentative date - August 5 - to conduct the ceremony. The trust has invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to lay the foundation stone for the Ram temple construction in Ayodhya.

Raut confirmed that the invitation will come and Thackeray will definitely visit Ayodhya as the Ram Mandir issue is sentimental and religious to Shiv Sena. He said that no one should do politics over the ‘bhoomi pujan’ and said that there are no differences between the alliance partners.

The Shiv Sena MP further said that Thackeray went to Ayodhya after becoming the Chief Minister to commemorate 100 days of being in power. He was accompanied by some of the Congress leaders during his visit earlier, Raut added.

On Monday, Raut said that Sena played an important role in paving the way for Ram Mandir construction. He said that Sena laid the road for the Ram temple construction in Ayodhya not for political, but out of faith.

NCP chief Sharad Pawar took a dig at the Prime Minister saying that some people think that Ram temple construction will eradicate coronavirus. He urged the centre to focus on the coronavirus and economic crisis which has gripped the country.

Former Deputy Prime Minister Lal Krishna Advani along with senior BJP leader Murli Manohar Joshi, Bajrang Dal founder Vinay Katiyar and Umar Bharti - who are currently facing a trial in the Babri Masjid demolition case - will also be invited for the ceremony by the trust, the media reports said.
